pitter patter of tiny......

Well, led in my attic room bed the other morning I could have sworn it was raining - pitter patter..... Went to the window and nope, sunshine. so what was the noise on my roof, which sounded like raindrops? The starlings- quite a flock of them had landed one by one on my roof and others aound me. Fantastic to watch, again. Then I looked down into my tiny garden to see the largest group of sparrows I've seen in a long time queuing for the feeder. What a lovely start to the day.

My son returned from seeing his brother yesterday. I will direct todays rant at British Rail. 7.30 he should have left the station for what is only a two-two and a half hour drive, or three hour train journey. After cancelled trains, diversions and bus rides he finally got back here at 12.03. Disgusting! He was exhausted and really fed up. No wonder they can't get us off the roads with service like that!!!

I've been summoned for a brain scan (re my failing hearing). They should soon know if there's anything in there other than sawdust and old memories. It's an MRI, and the letter says you can take your own music. I amused myself with the thought of playing Combichrist's 'Enjoy the abuse' while in there, but I don't think the staff would take it too well. ;-)

Thank godess it's nearly Friday. I'll be down the motorway to enjoy some real abuse, instead of the stuff my teeneage son throws at me. Hopefully I'll come back smiling and relaxed, if a little bruised! I'm convinced that SM stuff is actually helping me to get better. Endorphines etc, I think.
