Oh well, following a marvelously 'normal?' weekend (healthwise) when I actually had the chance to get out and about and have some fun has come to an abrupt end. Pity, it was good to feel like I could have an ordinary existence being a perv. Now I'm back to flu-like symptoms, sweating and feeling sleepy. But at least a conversation over the weekend has prompted me to put a long held idea into action. Mt health story mirrors the stories of anyone unfortunate enough to get infected by lyme disease or babesia. 20 years of mis-diagnosis and dismissal by the medical community created a very sick, lethargic, confused woman who has spent the past two years gradually getting better following that long awaited correct diagnosis. There's a book in here, I thought. A novel. People aught to know about this, as it's happening to lots of folk and is completley debilitating. A plot is now in its infancy, and having had some encouragement from a fellow writer I will go for it. When I stop coughing and sweating again, that is! Typical. As soon as I decide I want to do something, I get ill again and have to wait for a better day/week/month. Still, I can do a bit of research, write down ideas and dream up characters, between dozing and resting.
