i hate spring!!
Spring is my least favorite time of year. Why, you may ask? Because it's the time of year when my allergies decide to rebel and try to KILL me. And today, they almost did. Now, most of you know that it's not healthy to have an excessive amount of drainage. Some is good because it helps lubricate your nose and throat, but too much can be really bad. REALLY bad. If enough of it makes it into your (i.e. my) digestive system it wreaks total HAVOC on your equilibrium. Vertigo? Oh no. This is the full-blown, room spin, running into walls kind of nausea. And that's precisely what woke my happy ass up at 9:30 this morning. And i still don't feel all that well.
On a lighter note, the movie is coming along splendidly. Every day it gathers more steam, and it's really turning out to be quite a production. I'm really excited.
Ok, serious question time. Now, Ryan and I have been discussing this for some time and have even asked a couple of people, but have been able to get a really definitive answer. Ladies, the question is for you and it is this: So many women/girls say that all they want is a nice guy who will love them and take care of them and be there for them and blah blah blah, we've all heard the speech. However, most of these same women are dating/married to guys that are complete and total jerks that treat them like shit and then turn around and say, "hey, why do you always treat me so bad" when the girls have done NOTHING to them. These girls are nice, kind, beautiful, and are loyal to their men, no boys, even if the boys aren't loyal to them. But they stay with them. There are single guys out there that are nice and sensitive and will treat the woman they love like a princess, but these girls won't leave these shitty guys, so the guys are left to wonder what's wrong with them and why they can't find a woman to love. So, ladies, the question is : What the fuck??? Seriously. I would like to know why this happens. I've heard the whole "afraid to leave him" bit and the "she doesn't think anyone will love her" bit and the "he'll come around" bit and the always popular "date the guy mom doesn't like and THEN find the right guy to marry" but that can't be all there is to it. I just want to know why jerks seem to always have these beautiful women and the nice guys are always the single guys. Help me out, ladies.
Sorry about that, it's just something that's been on my mind a lot lately because I see it happening more and more. I hope I didn't piss anyone off, that was not my intention. I just needed to get that out there.
Anyway, I was hoping to make this entry a little more light-hearted, but, I guess life isn't always suited for light-hearted moments, is it?
