I've always enjoyed learning about the frontier and the Oregon Trail, and I did a lot of research for Detour Trail. And so when I came across Puff & Spotzie Adventure Series: Oregon Trail, I got it. Here'smy review:
Puff and Spotzie are two cats who live in a toy box and have imaginative adventures. This time they're off on the Oregon Trail. There are little "cat nips" filled with history and a look at life on a wagon train. Any reader can learn a lot from this book.
The illustrations are colorful and simple, and there's a map showing the Oregon Trail and the territories it passes through. There are suggested activities, and there's a johnnycakes recipe. Enjoy that too!
