New things to me.
So on friday I was having a bit of computer trouble and then my CD burner went out on me. Instead of trying to fix my computer as it was nearly 4 years old I had a great idea and headed off to circuit city. (As I will NEVER shop at Best Buy for anything ever again. I decided to by myself a new computer. After much debate about what type of processor to get I decided on the new AMD 64 bit processor. Yes, you read that right..a 64 bit processor. I found a open box model and saved over 500 and I am happy.
Specs on my new computer..
3200+AMD Athlon 64 bit processor
512 MB PC3200 DDR SDRAM memory
160 GB harddrive 7200 RPM
8x DVD+RW/CD-RW combo drive
plus I am wiping my old hard drive clean and making a slave drive of it. It is a 80GB hard.
Oh, and I got a 19 inch Flat LCD monitor too. I needed new ink for my printer but it was just as cheap to buy a new printer as it was to by the ink. This printer is a fax/copier/scanner/printer all in one. Saves more room on my desk than having 3 componets.
I like new toys.
