In honor of David Carradine (rip), during the weekend I re-watched - again - the whole "Kill Bill" saga and...OMG my love for those movies - especially the first - knows no bounds ( Read more... )

Pulp Fiction is in my alltime top ten (and I think I just haven't wanted the memory of it sullied by lesser efforts) but if you recommend Kill Bill, I'll bite.

I absolutely adore Pulp Fiction...but I think Kill Bill is even better somehow. They're both utter genius, but Kill Bill is more surrealistic, if you know what I mean, and it's visually stunning.

I strongly recommend it (the first movie more than the second, but they're both great) and I'd love to hear what you think about it... ;-)

They're in my TBR pile and I just keep thinking I'll get to them someday.

There are so many great books around that I definitely understand leaving LKH behind! :-)
Still, the last book is a definite improvement compared with the previous ones, so hopefully if/when you'll finally read it you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I'm a Jean Claude shipper, and she went in directions that leave him a footnote, and it frosts my kazoo.

I know what you mean!! I feel exactly the same way...the lack of Jean-Claude-ness in the last book was very disappointing (although Anita had to go out of town, so it was understandable), but I still hope she'll fix that, too...:-)
