How can JD Robb be so freaking awesome? How? *ponders*
After I finished the new "In Death" book
"Promises in Death" I just couldn't leave Eve and Roarke's world... I had to stay there a bit longer and bask in the awesome-ness of this series, so I'm re-reading some of my favorite ones: so. much. love.. *happy sigh

Me too. And I'll never thank you enough for that link you gave me....it changed my life. ♥
I really enjoyed Promises. The last couple ID books have been kinda so-so for me, so I was totally pleased by this one.
Promises was very good! I wonder if we'll ever see Eve become Captain...I bet it would both please her and screw her up, I would die (no pun intended) to read about that!
I enjoyed the latest books, especially "Salvation", she's so good at creating compelling and interesting characters that I often find myself wishing I could live in her world... ;))
I liked Eve acting like an actual human being for once, instead of this bitch always trying to push Roarke away.
Awww, come on! She's not a bitch (with Roarke, at least)...she just has issues...
I think that no matter how good is your life, you'll never get over something that traumatic. She's dealing with it - better and better - but she'll never be entirely over it, and that's one of the things that make her who she his (and the women Roarke loves). :-)
