So, today is Mother's Day, and the day of the Books' concert. Alas, no one will go with me as of yet. Micah is returning from Chicago, Justin is working, the other Justin isn't sure he wants to go, Chris is in Cleveland, Barbara is cooking dinner for her mother, and Ashley is doing god knows what. Therefore, I am hoping that I can convince Devin to go with me, because he would be most likely to appreciate the Books and their strange, strange music. I MUST make it to this concert!
In other news, it's been a long weekend without Micah, but okay, nonetheless. On Friday, I had fun with Chris and Peter and Justin and Jackie and Brianna. Devin and Ben Macken stopped by Justin's house when we were all over there, and Tyler and Sarah did after Devin and Ben had gone, and when we were about to leave. We had decided to go to the Westerville Athletic Club for free, thanks to Morgan. It was a good time. Swimming outside in cold weather, and going down a steep slide.. it's a rush. So of course, we swam inside too, and took advantage of the hot tub in the locker room. (!!?)
On Saturday morning, I woke up and had a terrible one-hour flu. I felt like I was going to die. Of course, I took this as a good and very reasonable excuse to lay around all day and play piano and rest and play Super Mario and such. Then, around five, Barbara came over and we hung out till nine or so, when she decided to walk over to Nick's grandmother's house, since she hasn't seen him in forever and all. I was expecting a phone call from Micah at ten or so, but I never got it. I called Tom's cell phone, but it was turned off. Woe is me. So I watched that stupid Scooby Doo movie. The new one. It was awful. Once I knew exactly how it would end, I turned it off and came upstairs. I talked to Justin for a bit online, and then I went to bed.
Today, Mrs. Murray is coming over at one for brunch. I decided to call Liz around 12:30 and see if she's up and such. Sometime, I shall call Devin and hope that he can go. If not, well... I might just be doomed to have to stay home...
