"How about you let me lead 'im," Depth Charge asked innocently, as Euphemia stretched up from where she was standing on the chair, fastening the blindfold around Dinobot's eyes. She couldn't help the slight laugh as he made a disgruntled noise, making a face at the blindness and at Depth Charge's suggestion.

"Or I could lead you both and make sure you stay out of trouble, and we actually make it to that spot in one piece," Euphemia drawled, smiling a bit wider as she ruffled Dinobot's hair just to hear another noise, and then moved to Depth Charge, fastening the strip of cloth around his eyes as well, careful not to catch any hair as she tied it off.

One that was done, she grabbed their hands, Dinobot to her right, Depth Charge to her left, and tugged them out of the house, making sure the door was locked behind her.

It was a fairly straight-shot to the beach; they make it with minimal nudging and bickering back and forth, with Euphemia acting as the (rather amused) mediator. For the most part, they didn't question her; she was stubborn when she wanted to be, and when she said "I'm not telling you where we're going", they knew it was more or less a lost cause. Didn't hurt to try, though.

"Almost," Euphemia assured once they were standing in the sand, the sound of the water lapping at the beach in the background. Dinobot grunted, clearly displeased with this location; she leaned against his shoulder just a little bit while they stood there, squeezing his hand tight. "I promise it'll be worth it."

Just a few more minutes, and then she squeezed their hands once more. "Okay, take them off," she ordered cheerfully, just as the first few fireworks were shot off into the night sky, erupting just as the two former 'bots slipped off the blindfolds.

Tense, holding her breath, aching for their approval even with something as small as this, Euphemia watched them both out of the corner of her eye, warmth curling up in her belly when the small start of a smile tugged at the corners of Depth Charge's lips. It wasn't large, wasn't that noticeable, but to her, it was wonderful.

Dinobot didn't say a word, just watched them with the same look he used to take everything in, like he was analyzing it, analyzing the place around them just in case anyone attacked-- the same as Depth Charge probably did. She didn't claim to understand the mind of warriors, really.

"Not bad," Depth Charge finally said when the fireworks pick up, loud pops and brightly colored bursts above them, lighting up the sand and water beside them, and off in the distance she can pick out other people standing there, with whoever they came with.

"Not bad," Euphemia agreed, beaming all the brighter when she caught the slight tilt of Dinobot's head and the way his hand tightened just a bit on hers.

When they're over, Euphemia just stood there a moment, before sighing happily. "Thank you two for coming out," she murmured, pleased with everything at this point, especially at the night turning out so well.

"Do not mention it, child." One large hand was placed on top of her head, before Dinobot turned and--

She only looked away for a moment, but that was apparently enough for Depth Charge to sidle close to the other 'bot, and push him hard into the water, sending him stumbling into the tide, boots and pants getting soaked, a loud roar escaping. "Slagging Fish, I-"

Euphemia sighed, moving onto the sand to sit down while they wrestled and cursed and yelled at each other in the sand, knowing better than to get in-between the two of them. It was how the evening had been expected to go, in all honesty, and she couldn't be happier.
