The best nights out are always compensated with the worst mornings after.
It was already past 11PM when I got picked up at my house. The latest I've ever left my pad, and my parents would surely tut at me if they ever find out.
We stopped over at Mini-Stop to grab a bottle of either a Red Horse or Gilbey's Premium each plus an extra bottle of beer to pass around.
Reaching A.Venue, we headed to hang out in the parking lot until there wasn't a drop left in the bottles we had.
First stop, Attica.
Second stop, to a birthday party that we eventually never reached because it was over.
Third stop, Ponti. The offer of unlimited shots for P350/head made us conclude that, "Since the shots are cheap, then this it's probably more water than alcohol." We immediately downed 4 shots the minute we got there undermining the offer. Oddly enough, it never occurred to us that cheap vodka exists in the market and that Cossak Vodka can just be as deadly as Absolut Vodka. We were deceived.
And the rest is history.
Dancing in the middle of the dance floor alone.
Receiving shots from a stranger.
Seeing Andi Eigenmann and Jake Cuenca and NOT freaking out about it.
Having a very long conversation with the cleaning lady about the woes of her job.
Stealing the front car seat where a the driver's girlfriend should be.
And other things I don't think I should mention.
But as soon as I get home, everything was more vivid. I got myself to bed at 4AM, but woke up at 4:30AM due to extreme dizziness, headache, terrible nausea, stomach pains and turbulent heart palpitation. All at the same time.
I ended up awake until 9 in the freaking morning!!!
I was already on the verge of tears due to exhaustion and frustration.
But thanks to my family who witnessed me through my ordeal (how shameful), they helped me with a pail, medicine, powerdrinks and a cookie.
My mom told me that she never drank alcohol because it would make her red and itchy all over and she proceeded to make this hilarious scratchy dance. But she became serious later telling me what I did was "Parusa sa sarili."
