(no subject)
I've been back from my sister's down in Santa Barbara (a 6 hour drive) for about a day now; it was a pretty awesome time actually. Thanksgiving itself was good times with family friends, and my aunt & uncle joining us, much locally grown wine was consumed. We watched "Knocked Up" and "Best in Show" both of which I liked; had a little bit of family drama, all in all it was a good time. I finally got to meet my sister's boyfriend of a year-and-a-half; totally cool smart guy, very kind, and super tall, at least six-three. Though my sister kept trying to get me to talk about politics with him I didn't want to feel stupid (he was among many other things, valedictorian of his high school class.) Perhaps next time we will chat....she doesn't want to move in with him as she believes doing so would make getting married anticlimactic [if they ever get to that point.]
We also had what was essentially a second birthday situation; we went to this totally cute sushi place in downtown SB and afterwards had an assortment of cool cupcakes from this gourmet cupcake place; it was totally awesome. I got a cool shirt and some money [that will go straight to my abnormally large cell phone bill:(
My first [true exam as opposed to a final paper] final is on Thursday in Wills followed by Con Law on Sunday, so this week is pretty planned out; though I plan on using birthday money to get a new cell phone.
