Things to do, things not yet done

Gotta make this quick, but the to-do list is getting smaller, and I am achieving little victories here and there. Don't believe me? Shame on you.

  • Start slushing tomorrow for Clarkesworld and, depending on the first flood of submissions, not go insane (flood is a great descriptor for the amount of submissions we've gotten in two days, and I've not gone insane yet wee!)
  • Write a total of 1,000 words for "Knock the Chocks" (I wrote a small amount during my lunchbreak on Friday and will probably bang out some more words tonight)
  • Draw three to five Supertown comics for chapter two; draw, not tone (three, which is good enough for now!)
  • Take the fiancee out to dinner on Saturday to celebrate our engagement since we haven't really done that by ourselves yet (see sushi coma comic)
  • Bullet needs an oil change (about to leave in an hour to do just this)
  • Miscellaneous cleaning of the apartment, like throwing out all my shredded documents and other junk, as well as packing up unwanted clothes for donation
  • Play some videogames for new reviewing gig (yeah, that'll be a tough job ::wink face::)
Yup. It's progress. Now to just finish my coffee and bring in Bullet for an oil change. I really hope it won't take long or that there will be any surprise problems, but I'm getting this feeling that things are going pretty well as of late and the Universe wants to send me a friendly reminder about my place in all of this.

writing, cars, mylifecomics, to-do list, a day in the life, supertown, weekend wonders, slushing around, clarkesworld
