For the first time in absolute years I managed to have a pretty awesome New Year. A lesson learned today - it turns out nothing makes you run faster and harder than coming across your love rat ex at the top of the hill trying to catch his breath. Damn, it nearly killed me today. Hands down the hardest longest run I've ever done and so worth every burning step.

Well, what do you know it turns out proper running shoes are not just a marketing ploy to get us spend more money on useless things. They actually do make you run faster and easier.
