Why I love my job
1. We found a turtle at work this week. And a brown snake 3 weeks ago
2. The magnolias are in flower
3. The swamp-hens are there in the morning waiting for me to feed them
4. It's summer. I work with landscapers. Need I say more?
5. No one has spat on me, abused or insulted me, or threatened to hit me/sue me/hurt my family or put a curse on me. All things that happened when I was in the airline industry.
6. Every week some one tells me how much that love coming to my work to buy trees.
7. Number 4, again
8. People 'get it' when I say how much I love euphorbias
9. 2, again, and also the gardenias are in flower
