I went to the Buskers yesterday with Sarah and William and Kelly, Denis, Xavier and Owen. We watched Alakazam. He was pretty good. Very sick humour. He's a contortionist, so I didn't actually watch most of the show. But I really liked his finale. That was all we got to see because Sarah and William had to be home by 4:30. After we watched the show we stopped at the Waxman tent and Kelly got a wax "impression" of Owen's hand. Not sure what you would call it, it was like a wax glove. It was really cool, and she bought a light to light it up. Then we all took the ferry back to Dartmouth and went our seperate ways. I took William and Sarah home, and then I took a birhtday present to my cousin.
I went back to Halifax after that to see Scott. We went to dinner at East Side Mario's. Yummy! Then we went down to the Buskers because I wanted some of the mini deep fried donuts for dessert, but I was still too full from dinner when we got there so we wandered around a bit. We watched most of the ABS Crew show, they were great, then we watched the end of Senmaru, that was an amazing show, and he got the cute little girl up to throw the ring at him, it was SO cute! Then we watched the end of Fasthorses, that was awesome too! He got 3 guys up out of the audience and taught them hoop tricks. Fun! Then we watched the end of the Alakazam show again. It was much better at night, the audience was bigger and more responsive. Then he caught someone on the phone and took the phone from him, he told the person on the other end that their friend was at a gay strip club and he (alakazam) was just on stage taking off his clothes and he saw their friend, and I don't remember how that part of the conversation stopped, then he says, do you wanna hear a joke? What has little balls and hangs upside down? A bat. What has big balls and hangs up? And he closed the guys phone and gave it back to him. Then he went back to the show, probably not even 2 minutes later the same guy is on the phone again and walking away, so Alakazam yells at him and chases after him, to find out that the guy was just telling two of his friends, who happened to be hot girls, where he was. Then the rest of the show went relatively the same as the one I had seen earlier. Then Scott and I went and bought shirts, cause his shirts were pretty cool, contortionist skelleton on the front, on the back it says twisted and his website, www.thehumanknot.com. Then, I finally bought myself some deep-fried donuts! They were so yummy, I bought myself too many though, I'm going to go eat the rest of them now!
