Well then
So, let's just do a relatively quick recap of the past week or so:
- Valentine's Day- or really, Valentine's weekend. Quite good, since it involved lots of sleep, lots of love (yeah, yeah, I know. be quiet), and fun at thrift stores. I scored some fun stuff, including a mesh football shirt from Nisqually Middle School. All I have to say is that that must have been a damn big middle schooler. Beyond that, I also got a brown velour shirt, a brown pleather bomber jacket, and plaid old man pants. All around, a good time. Plus the Casa Tahoma party was a good time, despite the large crowd.
- GRE's. Studied my ass of the day before, stressing myself out big time, but it paid off. Even with the having to function at 8:30 in the morning in Puyallup, I managed to pull off a 680 Verbal and a 630 Math (1310 cumulative, on the same scale as the SAT). I won't know about the analytical writing section for a while yet, but hopefully it'll be good.
- Next year. After some deep thought and much conflict, I think I've pretty much settled on where I'll be. Despite my original plan to go be a ski bum in Whistler (discarded because it really isn't feasible, economically and future-wise), I've decided to pursue an internship in the Tacoma/Seattle area. Lacking that, I'll be looking for a job around here, but the internship (which I have a couple leads for) would be the best idea overall. That means I'll be living in tacoma, and at this point, it's looking like I'll be living with Em, which is very exciting indeed.
I could bore you with more mundane details, but I need to go let someone into the music building, and plus, who really wants to be that bored? And I'm off to keep this campus secure once more.
