(no subject)
So, if nothing else, I think that working the grave shift last semester made me better at staying awake late than I thought at the time. Case in point, Saturday night at oracle, i was more awake than Em was. of course, I've been getting around 8 hours of sleep every night in comparison to her 6 and had only been up since 11, compared to her 9:30, but still. So see, something good did come of last semester. In other news, it's been a good couple of days. I actually enjoyed Oracle- not that I thought I wouldn't, but I had a few small reservations about the whole thing. But despite it really not being my kind of crowd (despite freshman year inclinations, I'm not a hippie and certainly not a raver) I enjoyed the music, since the dj's were great, and the company was fantastic, so i really couldn't complain. Plus if nothing else, I could fall back on people watching, which was ridiculously entertaining. Beyond that, Sunday was nice, filled with relaxation and such, and I'm starting to think that I'm actually going to enjoy mondays this semester. After all, when I'm done at 4, I'm completely done, since I have no homework or anything. That time was well spent yesterday wandering about the mall with jenna and then watching the Last Unicorn (which I had never seen) while consuming Tacos Guaymas. So yes, all around goodness. of course, I really haven't done a whole lot more on my thesis- but I am up to 8 1/2 pages- but there's still time, right? Yeah. that's all I really have for now. Off to the library I go!
