Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad

This Wednesday will make 30 years of marriage for my parents! I'm very happy for them, and glad to know I have such wonderful role models for my coming marriage.

So, to honor their thirty years together, Erin and I took my parents out to dinner. We took them to Woodberry Kitchen, in the Clipper Mill complex in Hampden. Woodberry Kitchen got a great write up in the New York Times travel section last month, and Erin and I had heard good things before.

It was nice to dress up to go out to dinner.

So, the restaurant is part of the Clipper mill development. It's an ancient sailcloth factory that has been rehabbed into condos, apartments, house, businesses, etc. Very chic, and very secluded. It is an architectural dream. There is a glass blowers shop and gallery next to the restaurent. We got there early so we took the opportunity to see some fantastic art pieces.

Dinner was amazing. The salad was amazing. The side dishes were amazing. The steak was the best I have ever had!

It is not cheap. But it was worth every penny.
