I went to bed and there had only been around 35 confirmed deaths in the Victorian bushfires... I woke up and checked the smh.com.au this morning.... and that count had gone to over 90 deaths. That's just terrible, and to make things worse, those fires were deliberately lit by some fucking retard(s). I just don't understand why someone would ever want to do something like that. Not only has it caused that many deaths, but it has destroyed entire towns, homes, communities, and all the plants and animals in over 300,000 hectares of land. How the hell can someone get off causing that much devastation?
I'll be hoping that those fighting against the fires will be able to get them under control without any further loss of life, but it's one huge fucking fire (around 83 of them in total) raging through the dry lands =\
