This week has just been like... a WTF type of week I think lmao it's been so weird and so random that it's been throwing me off balance, but not entirely in a bad way... if that makes any sense?
Monday I hung out with Kara while waiting for Charlie to finish uni... we had lunch down in the Myer Centre... and after we'd finished and began chit-chatting about random topics... there was this lull of silence from us both as we looked around shiftily... then a moment afterwards, I was like.
Me: You thinking the same thing I am?
Kara: I reckon I might be.
Me: Starts with a 'P'?
Kara: Ends with a 'Ra'?
Me + Kara: -both begin pissing ourselves laughing as we go- 'Purikura!'
So, of course, we both head out and go do puri while we wait for Charlie to finish.
Kara's as bad as I am when it comes to obsessions with the Purikura machines and the Karaoke bars >_>;; It's no wonder we need Charlie since she's more like the voice of reason I think =\ Poor Charlie -pets her-
Of course after that we all went back into the city where Charlie had to go off and do stuff without us (T_T) while Kara and I decided to go and do Karaoke... which was awesome... and I fangirled because I found new songs on there that I hadn't seen before... and we laughed, and sang Gackt together... and the Spice Girls... and Barbie Girl... It was full of most awesome. After we finished that, we both headed for Makoto's for dinner - which was nice except I think that we ended up with a touch of food poisoning afterwards... since I got on the bus later and felt like passing out =\
Anyway~ Yesterday I was in my Jap tutorial... and we watched one of the 'educational videos' that we typically do of 'typical' Japanese conversation... well this one had the wonderfully unemotional and toneless Mira-san (Bad American actor) in it along with another Japanese actor. So I'm sitting there watching it, and all throughout it the Jap actor was bugging me since I knew I knew him from somewhere. Towards the end it suddenly hit me, and after slapping Isabella on the arm excitedly, I loudly whispered 'OMG he's from
Ikebukuro West Gate Park. He's the
ballet guy! So after that I was grinning like an idiot and enjoying myself far too much I think >_>;;;
Charlie and I skipped out English Creative Writing tutorial since it was dedicated to 'Poetry' and sorry to all of those poetry fans out there, but I absolutely loath Poetry and think it's stupid >_> It's not my cup-of-tea. Instead... we went back to my place and had lunch, played Smash Brothers Brawl, and then Guitar Hero... that night... I just re-watched episodes 79 - 81 of Kyou Kara Maou (man I love that series ♥) with my cousin so then she could fangirl with me.
So yeah... nothing terribly exciting in that department lmao
Today was Jap class. The stupid bus was running late which meant that I got there at 3:10 instead of 2:55 =_=;; BUT ANYWAY! Isabella was bugging me all of yesterday saying that I had to come looking like a tree, and how she was disappointed because I didn't go to yesterday's tute looking like one (tree aka me wearing my knee-length bright green raincoat, and brown pants). So I specially dressed in that today and went... and it was hilarious since the moment I walked in and she saw me, and huge friggin' grin spread over her face as she mouthed 'tree'. So of course, she was happy and has now decided to call me 'Tree' instead of my real name -snickers- Ahh well I'd much rather be called a tree than have her bugging me every single week about not coming dressed as one. I picked the lesser of two evils >_>
Granted... I probably indulge people too much, but I have fun as well watching them laugh at my expense lmao I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not yet ;D
Anyway! I spoke to Luke for a split moment while we waited to sign our names on the attendance sheet... and we greeted each other in our usual fashion of him going 'how's it going bitch?' and me responding with 'yeah great you asshole, how 'bout you?' ... how we got on to talking like this to each other is beyond me, but I find it highly amusing to say the least.
Ahh my Jap class friends - oh how I love you all ♥
I went to the library with Bella afterwards and we worked on our Jap class corrections, and after that I went in to meet Charlie so we could have dinner at sushi train. I only had one plate since I wasn't terribly hungry, but it was good all around and we had fun before we walked to my bus stop. Then we got onto the topic of the Sex and the City movie coming out, and how I have no desire to go and see it but she does... and then she's all like:
Charlie: Ozzy, you're like a guy trapped in a female's body
Me: -gives her an unimpressed look complete with raised brow- Are you calling me butch? Since I hardly think that I'm that of all things... I might not be all girly girl, but I have my girly habits like fangirling... a lot... over stupid sparkly things.
Charlie: Alright alright, so you're more like a gay guy trapped in a female body.
Me: -gives her a deadpan expression and pats her on the shoulder- I give up.
So apparently I'm like a gay guy trapped in a female body... I don't really see the logic in that since they're probably more girly than I am >_>;;; but yeah... I'm most definitely not butch either O_o;; The most hardcore thing about me is my third set of earrings in my ears... :O!!! Hardcore to the max man!
But yes... I laughed at her, then shoved her on her way so then I could catch my bus...
My sister (who just got married) emailed me the link to the slide show of the wedding photos (a few days back), and I finally bit the bullet and decided to show my grandma the slide show when I got home today - otherwise I'd have people pressuring me to show her. So... I show her and she's talking about how 'precious' Kelly is and blah blah, and then... as the show is shifting through all of the photos, the background music is playing and I find my grandma starting to dance to the music while she's watching the music -major face palm action-
I mean... this is exactly why I don't like showing her anything... especially anything with music attached to it =\ That and every few seconds she'd subtly slid in closer to the screen... which I would then scoot away since I loath it when people come to close to me... and each time I'd move... she'd move in closer =_=;; I had to hold my tongue in check so as not to snap at her to move back and give me some space >_____>;;;
On another completely random note. I figured out on Monday night that it's around 9 weeks (at the most) before I'll be flying out of Australia and flying over to the wonderful land of Canada... I just can't believe that it's coming so quickly! I've still got a few things I need to do such as apply for a US VISA so then I can travel through and to the US while I'm in Canada. I'm applying for the interview tomorrow so I'll hopefully get my interview for the following Thursday (the 15th of May I think?).
If that's the case then I've got to run over to Melbourne for 2 or 3 days so I can do that and totally go to that Nintendo Game On event they've got going ♥ before coming back and waiting for my exam schedule to come out. Once I know that I can finally book my flight over to Canada for either the 30th of June (although I'll only be flying to Seattle with that and staying there until I drive up to Vancouver on the 3rd with Kelly), or on the 11th of July if my last exam is anytime on or after the 30th of June.
So those two dates are a definite and I'll be leaving on one of those for sure.
After that I've still got to put in my deferral for uni, do all of my assignments, study for exams, and fangirl over Chrissy when she finally comes back to Adelaide at the end of this month. Then, after that, I don't have anything to do until just before I leave where I'll have to disconnect the phone line into my bedroom, and cancel my net connection -clings desperately to that- I LOVE YOU INTERNET! ♥
Hmm... I think that's all that I've got to say for now... and since I am craving soup... I'm going to grab myself a bowl ♥
