Pirates!

Just a random thought about the current pirate situation. I think they should figure out how the Somali pirates are boarding these ships and electrify their point of entry. If pirates are climbing ladders on the hull of the ship, just electrify the ladder steps. If they are throwing a hook and line over the side rail of the ship's deck, electify that. Nothing serious, just enough current to give a stun gun like jolt, or like a cattle prod or cattle fence. The electricity could be controlled from the control deck so it would only be switched on during an attack. Not sure if this would thwart pirates from using their weapons on the ship or threatening to fire if the power isn't shut off, but it might be a helpful defensive measure. It would at least provide amusement when someone gets on the ladder and gets jolted back into the ocean. Wouldn't be long until the pirates started using rubber gloves I guess.
