And I know this wasn't exactly a birthday present, but
glitterburn wrote a delightful, Onmyouji story for me. You really don't need to understand the canon to enjoy the story. All you really need to know is Seimei is a magic user of sorts, and Hiromasa is his friend... and they fight crime in the Heian period of Japan. Okay, not really about the crime fighting, but still, they do amazing things together. Ripples is a wonderful story. Thank you,
