One tough lady
Rebecca Cain
Rebecca was born on April 4 in the Northern Province - near Central City - of Quadling Country. Her parents ran a store in Market Square District in Central City. When she was thirteen annuals old, they sold the store and moved to the Southern Province near a town called Ruby Creek. As the oldest son, her father inherited the family ranch. Her father was happy to be moving back south and away from the city. Her mother wasn’t too sure, but later grew to love her new life.
Rebecca hated it, until one day at school when a dark-curly haired boy with blue eyes approached her. She surprised him by kissing him before he could even introduce himself. Actually, she already knew his name. Her relationship with Garrett Cain was rocky in the beginning since they were both hardheaded, but they soon learned how to deal with their stubborn traits.
She’s the oldest of three (she has a sister and a brother). She’s fierce and has a temper. She even stood up to a couple of bullies who were picking on her younger brother. When she was fifteen, she was named Miss Junior Ruby Creek by winning the barrel racing and pie-cooking contest. She and Garrett have won the piglet-catching contest twice for their age-group during the Ruby Creek Fair. It was after participating with Garrett for the first time in the piglet-catching event that she learned of his penchant for skinny-dipping.
She married Garrett when she was nineteen and had their first child when she was twenty-one. She and Garrett would have three children together. Like her mother-in-law, she makes her own whiskey.
Most Quadlings are Unionists, and Rebecca was no different. Both she and Garrett believed in a united Outer Zone ruled by the Royal Family, but that sentiment may change in the future.
After the rise of the Sorceress, she and Garrett joined the Resistance.
After witnessing Garrett’s ‘death’, she and her children are taken to an ammunitions factory in Gillikin Country. Keeping her children safe for eight annuals becomes difficult with each passing day while they are forced to work for the Longcoats, especially for her daughter, Luara.
