The Shaman

The Shaman is the strongest magic user in the whole Archipelago. Stories are told how she was alive when the Great Upheaval split the world and it was thanks to her powers that anyone survived on what became the islands. Her response is to only laugh and ask the teller what kernel of truth is at the heart of that tale.
The witch will counsel with anyone who comes to her island, but she will not leave it. And she will help anyone who asks for it, but there is always a price to pay.

Dani
First Appearance: Tin Man: Pirates of the Nonestic: Chapter Twenty-One.
Dani is a Chicken, hen of Dora and Daniel, and traces her ancestors back to a mated pair of Chicken ambassadors to the Kingdom of Ev. After the Great Upheaval, their descendants were scattered across the Archipelago. All Chickens know the legend of Billina the Obstinate, and how she beat the Nome King and saved her human friends. But they don't trust the humans with the details they've forgotten.
Dani is an original character for Pirates of the Nonestic influenced by L. Frank Baum's character Billina.
