i'm just here to state the obvious
if anyone was thinking about seeing a film that, while it won't cheer you up per se, will make you feel a whole lot better about the life you're currently leading, i recommend checking out gus van sant's last days. it's inspired by the last days of kurt cobain's life. let's just say it's a little bizarre, but it had good intentions.
in other news, i had a 3-4 hour study session for my narrative theory seminar today with some buddies, and man, am i not stoked to take that exam. four-hour exam? are you kidding?! i guess i'm just glad i didn't completely fry my brain studying today. i still have my papers to work on that are due early next week. my take-home exam for my baroque class is going to be a picnic after all that nonsense.
the upside to all of this is that we have hang-out/review sessions/profs-feeding-us get-togethers (too many hyphens!) on monday and tuesday night. this cuts into my study/writing time considerably, but hopefully it will be either helpful and/or fun.
