It's been awhile since I had time to write fanfiction, but I've received an award nomination for a Buffy the Vampire Slayer fic I wrote earlier. She Would be Thirteen is a Xander-centric story, set about a year after the end of the TV series, and you can find it here:

Been a bit busy over here, as usual. We fed about 600 at the fire department's fish fry Wednesday, and things are looking possibly stormy for the parade Saturday -- the perils of fair week. Okay, still trying to get caught up. Two important things: First of all, hope you had/are having/will have a very happy birthday this/last week to bethnolastname, irish_injun, raemcn, psubrat, trysts, darsynia, ourchimera, oldgreymare, eternal_shalott, and femmenerdIt's not as long a list as it seems -- in some cases two of those are the same people -- but clearly a good several days for LJ'ers. I'm back, sort of. Actually, I'm going mostly off line again for a couple of days for various reasons, but I've returned from my trip to Missouri; Emily's back in college, and the trip was relatively uneventful except for almost hitting a hawk the size of a small dragon while going 70 mph on the interstate ( Read more... ) -

Hey, my Four Friends series got third place in the "Best Tara Fic" category over at the Serenity on the Hellmouth Awards, Round Four! Actually, it tied for third, and two other fics tied for second. So you could actually say I got fourth, or fourth and a half, or ...
