Weather, or not?
Wow, the last couple of days here have been damned rugged weather-wise. Last night the premier declared a state of emergency because of flooding and gale-force winds. Sadly a man was killed when he was hit by an awning that blew off a building, and another was lucky to survive when a large shard of glass from a shattered building window hit him in the neck!
It's stopped me from heading up the expressway to work these two days I was going to go. Fortunately the work can wait till next week, just means I don't have any income this week - never a good thing.
