Ella certainly doesn't seem too impressed over the whole affair. She's probably used to all those drunken parties by now. ;-)
Oh how I miss the green grass and tee-shirt weather. It's about minus 30 degrees right now.
Hope you have a kick-a-- New Year's Eve tomorrow night. Right now I've got to get to bed. I must slowly get back into the routine of going to bed by 11:00 and waking up much earlier than I have this past week. In fact it was past 1:30 in the afternoon when I woke up today. Later.

Those 11-hour days definitely can wipe you out, especially if you get very many in a row. They also limit your 'social/free-time' which can really suck. Probably more so mine because I tend to sleep 10 or more hours a night whenever possible

I wound up with three 11-hour shifts (a couple were a bit longer, actually). Then yesterday was my day off, and I wound up having to go in for about 5 hours to take care of some stuff. Basically, in three actual shifts, I've already worked closed to 40 hours (and have Friday and Saturday's shifts to think about still, too

Hopefully you won't be taken advantage of to the point where you get burnt out or totally frustrated. Too many businesses tend to do that to some of their hardest workers

I don't feel that I'm being taken advantage of ... I just have a lot of responsibility. I wound up working 54.5 hours last week. It was a long week. I had yesterday and today off, but I had to go in briefly today for a meeting with our field consultant. The next two days I work doubles, probably 11am-11pm.
Well, in terms of eating in Memphis, pretty much everything is taken care of with our conference fees; we'll be having dinners with the other managers from around the country.

NYE was a very long day ... worked 11 hours, but it was fun. I hope yours was enjoyable, too.
Today was another 11-hour day. I need a cocktail and to relax.
