Updates
Jayme, Jonathan, and I went to Hooters on Wednesday night and then went over to Casey's to check out my room and hang out for a while. Casey had called me earlier in the day and we talked about the letter that her landlord sent me, and she told me what had happened. Everything's all worked out now, and I won't have any trouble moving in. Yay. Jayme lives only about 2 blocks from Casey's place, so we simply walked her home. It'll be exciting to be able to be live so conveniently close to her.
Thursday I was supposed to do a server training class for our new manager at noon. She showed up a little late, and it turned out that the stuff I thought I was supposed to cover was already covered by Cicely the previous day. We wound up walking to Zen Toro and getting a bunch of sushi, and then sitting in our bar and tasting 18 wines. It was kinda fun to get paid to eat lunch and drink wine. Haha. I had a regular serving shift that night, and it wasn't bad. After work I grabbed coffee with Jonathan and then stayed up until 6am working on my math presentation for the next day. I got about 4 1/2 hours of sleep, and then got up around 10:30am to finish the project.
We got our math tests back in class on Friday, and I had the highest grade (only missed two). I didn't think that I had done that well, so it was cool. I did my math presentation, and although it was boring, I think it went alright and I'm glad it's over and done with. I went to work right after class, and it was a long night. I was busy and irritated for the last half of the night, and tired from the lack of sleep the night before. I got off around midnight, and Jonathan was waiting at my house to hang out. We picked up some beer and watched tv and drank a few.
I slept in farily late today, but I still feel somewhat tired. I have to be to work in just under two hours though, so I have to get ready in a bit.
