(no subject)
Drew told me to update! But what should I say? Today I washed dishes but it was a little slow. I am really starting to wish that the term was over because I just want to stop writing papers and reading words and then go to Disneyland. Luckily I just figured out that I only have one final this term, and it's on Monday. So that basically means an extra four days of Spring break if I get my final papers/portfolios/jazz done on time to take off early. Mmmmm. I want laziness. But here's my schedule for next term!
ENG 399: Medieval lit and its backgrounds... not super excited, but it conquers an English requirement.
LING 150: Structure of English words. HOORAY!!!!!
PHIL 211: Existentialism. Duh, why would I not take this class!!!
SPAN 303: Expresiones artísticas. I'm excited.
So, overall, victory. Also timing-wise it matches Lucy's schedule pretty well. I have lots to do tonight and tomorrow, homework, ughhh. Can't I just divide my time between sleeping and chilling?
Last night was Dux In Tux, where you wear fancy stuff and pay 10 meal points to watch On The Rocks and a barber-shop quartet called Don't Ask sing while eating catered food. It was lots of fun! I have been a fan of OTR for so long that none of the songs are new to me. Except, they debuted a Ben Folds song, "Fred Jones, Part Two" and it was really good. I was singing along under my breath; I couldn't help it. I also met two nerdy guys, finally. It's certainly taken long enough. And also there was lots of that's what she said and toasting to that's what she said, and singing lyrics from "I'm On A Boat" in the line for Sweet Life cake. DELICIOUS!!! I asked the guy who was serving me for the edible sugar flower on the cake, and he gave it to me! Ask and ye shall receive; the squeaky wheel gets the grease, etc. Then Drew and I didn't want to take off our dresses yet so we went for a walk and ended up in LLC South playing the piano and singing.
Today I did homework, then Kenzie and Linnea visited me. We went for an outing to a bead store so Kenzie could get her nerdy Harry Potter themed charm bracelet put together, then got pizza and soda and CREME EGGS for me. Then we came back and chilled and went to get Whammies with Drew and it was delicious. Now it's time for me to work on homework. BLARGH.
