The Brother: He'll Never Learn
!! Dear Whomever Gives A Damn !!
It is kind of funny how my brother never seems to learn. Kyle, my ex and Kris' somewhat friend, lives two doors down from us. Well, Kevin thought it would be funny to get a shitty attitude with everybody. Kyle, decided that it would be funny to take a shitty attitude up with everyone also. When Mom had called, Kyle made the remark "oh you want me to take Teddy and Grace off your hands and put a bullet in their heads too? Save you some trouble?" - that made us all extremely angry.
I don't know what it was that happened, but Kevin's stuff was back over here this morning when I woke up. Came over to sit down, and start doing some homework and found his x-box and everything else on the chair that we designated as "his corner" - before he decided that it would be fun to cop an attitude that sucked from here to Hong Kong.
Mentioned it to Kris when he walked in today after work, and he looked real angry. Told me that he was ready to throw it out in the street. He wasn't at all impressed with Kevin's attitude and when Kevin showed up - he obviously knew we were angry with him because he instantly started to clean up his mess. Kris wouldn't even look at Kevin, he was so angry with him.
I'm pretty pissed myself. I mean, treating people like shit, and then just showing up again because you and Kyle have a fight? Mom said that was why his stuff was back. He was over at Kyle's, they got into a fight, Kyle started up again or something and Kevin got pissed off. He never learns. He stops hanging with Kyle for a while, Kyle gets better, starts hanging with him again and Kyle becomes an asshole again. It's just how Kyle is. That's why I don't talk to the kid anymore.
Invite him to play even a simple game of Halo, and Kyle starts bad mouthing me "oh do something easy so that I don't need to protect your ass" - and the first match we played on Halo - I had 14 kills and he only had single digit. Kris told me that I should have said "oh do you need to play something easy so I don't need to protect your ass?" but it was mean and I didn't want to. Kris and Kevin said that he was mean to me, so he deserved it, but I don't care. I've yet to talk to the kid for more than a couple seconds. Hello is all he'll get out of me.
Wish Kevin would just damn well learn though, instead of thinking he can treat everyone like shit and expect us to still be here.
