Last Thursday I had my first real experience with sushi. Rosie (my cousin) and I went to Sushi Den on Pearl St. Great place for food, but a bit noisy. It was a great experience and I even let my veggie guard down to try a bit of eel. It wasn't bad at all!
The next night I took myself out on a date. I was going to go with Lena, but the poor girl came down sick. I went up to the Flatirons Mall for some Qdoba and then headed to Borders. I was just planning to read a book a brought and have some coffee, but once I started looking around... I ended up buying a book to read instead. It's not a new book and I didn't buy it for me really. I picked it up out of curiosity and wonderment. "He's Just Not That Into You" actually turned out to be more of a comedy than a self-help. As I read through it I saw alot of things were true and some were not-so-true. I do highly recommend reading it for at least for the simple satire design and sarcastic humor!
Over the weekend Jeff, Carole, Victor, and I put away the pool. Figures that as soon as the winter cover is on it, the highs are in the 80's for awhile. Oh well. We still have the hot tub!
Monday I went out to lunch with Rosie before going to my 6th interview with Mosaic. I have no idea why I was so nervous! I got there (early too!) and did my thing. I was myself, I was honest, I was compassionate. The new exec and I really had a great connection! She's in Omaha for some training until tomorrow. She did say that no matter what happens, she will call me Friday afternoon to give me an update. *Fingers crossed*
In the meantime, I'm attempting to plan a way back to Indiana. I've never traveled via train before, so I'm considering that a very real possibility. I'm not on a tight schedule, so why not take the track less traveled?
