Back home again...
So I made it back home from surgery and though I'm in pain, It's nothing I can't handle (Thank you nerve block, Darvocet, and Toradol).
I do have some pretty cool pics of inside my knee. Most of them are "clean" looking, but there is one with alot of blood and stuff. Dr. Kollias told me that I had stumps left of my ACL and a little bit of meniscus damage that's pretty common. He cleaned it all up, put in the donor Achilles (aka Kneenja) and I now have a staple in my femur and some sort of anchor in my tib/fib bones. Also, I have 4 incisions and two holes in my left knee and thigh.
Mad props to Megan who was totally awesome and visited me and to Mom who has been a HUGE help for staying with me the whole time. I don't think I can thank ya'll enough for the support!
That's about it for now. Time to make some calls to get into therapy and take my meds. My poor knee feels like it's on fire!
