Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! They give us Casey and Severide in a bar, finally, and then Severide says he's leaving? For good!!!
Severide can not be leaving! Nooooooooo. I know I hate spoilers, but please, someone spoil me with something that shows he doesn't leave!
I've forgotten everything else that happened in my dismay at those last few seconds! Off to hunt for spoilers now - what this show has done to me! I don't even know myself any more. Spoilers!!! ME, SPOILERS! Severide, don't leave!!
eta: Urgh, we have to wait until 30th January (the 31st for those of us outside the US) for the next episode?! Show, I love you, why are you so mean to me?
eta 2: After what the Chief said to Peter Mills, I really want fic about Severide's two celibate years as a candidate!
eta 3: I've calmed down enough to convince myself that they can't lose their main actor (this isn't a Joss Whedon show), so I will just say, poor, poor Herrmann - it's about time he caught a break! Also, I loved Mouch with Cruz, trying to get him to talk - such a lovely, quiet little moment. But did anyone else think the airplane crash scene was cut really abruptly? Once second they're about to transport the man with the gut injury, and the next they're all back at the station moving Herrmann's limo - it felt a bit like whip lash!
