Nine days and counting down

It's amazing the difference an encouraging comment makes. One awesome piece of feedback on a story, and suddenly I'm back to work on my yuletide story, and believe I can do it! And I've just tried for a pinch hit and I'm not sitting here thinking 'omg, why did I just do that'.

Ah, perspective cake with a layer of self-confidence, so tasty.
