Yesterday's
yuletide status: OMG BEARS!!! (Thanks to deciding to ditch nearly 4,000 words and come up with a new, more complicated plot with ten days to go, at the point where in previous years I'd already posted my main story!)
Today's
yuletide status: slightly nervous - there's no time for anything to go wrong - but much happier.
I also managed to finish the first of my
4_a_star fics yesterday and send it to beta, so it's been a productive weekend. There's something eminently satisfying about attempting to write in a new fandom (Luther, in this case), expecting it to be hard, and finding it a comfortable fit.
Other good things.
ampr has been tirelessly translating my Generation Kill stories, so if you read Russian, you can enjoy her latest work:
Жизненные развилки, рассказ в двух частях (the geometry of life: a story in two parts) |
Отпечаток (Imprint) |
С твоим именем на губах (your name falling from my lips) luninosity wrote some delightful Erik/Charles huddling for warmth fic for me, that's a perfect fit as a missing scene:
Hand On (A Miracle). And
madnessisreal has
beautifully illustrated the Brad/Nate hair cutting scene from The Ending Earth - there's just something about Brad with his hands on Nate's hair. And she's done what the show failed to do - given us shirtless Nate!
And I finally got my
fic website up to date!
