I'm attempting to be good and finish a work in progress - I've plumped for the little SPN/BtVS I started sort of by accident, as I thought I'd just throw in some sex and call it done! I think you just put into words how I feel about Dean, too. I think he's beautiful -- but I just don't lust. Perfect way of expressing that; and I agree.

I've been feeling a bit bad lately, that I've been so absorbed in Generation Kill to the exclusion of everything else! It'll be different when the new season of SPN starts up, but I'm probably boring a lot of people right now! And it's terrible, sometimes - I realise I haven't spoken to someone in a while, then check and maybe it's been months, and it's not deliberate or anything, just time passing and busy lives, and I've been missing keeping up with people. I wish it were different, but however hard I try, I just never seem to keep up.

Eerk! Don't feel bad on MY account, at least. I certainly wasn't attacking or anything, just making an observation -- and there's nothing wrong with being absorbed in something else you like! I was just pointing out that I don't know anything about that fandom, so I can't comment to anything or anything. If anything (wow, that's a lot of 'anythings'...) it was commentary on me not commenting.

And I never seem to keep up and pretty much all I do all day is play in fandom, so I can understand that.

It will be nice, though, when you talk about SPN again too, I won't deny it. :D

All I can do, too, is hope the new season is awesome.

Oh, I realised that - I was just musing that I'm in the same situation, very aware of not chatting to lots of old friends. It's one of those things I can't help but feel bad about, which is silly, because it's lack of time not anything else. I do get a wee bit envious of people who can do fannish things at work! *g*

I had been thinking of doing a 'Sam kissing girls' picspam for fleshflutter's picspam challenge - I just haven't got around to it yet. And it's entirely possible her challenge is over now! *g*

I think that would be a really nice picspam! I am not sure; I don't remember the deadline, though I doubt she would be unhappy if you did one anyway. :D

I think it's natural to lose touch sometimes, but those people that really matter, who are definitely your friends? Will all still be there to pick up where you left off!

I must do that picspam then - I shall try to do so before I go on holiday at the end of the month - that's a reasonable goal.
