Because Faith's just that much hotter than Dean

I'm attempting to be good and finish a work in progress - I've plumped for the little SPN/BtVS I started sort of by accident, as I thought I'd just throw in some sex and call it done! But the hot sex isn't feeling that hot. I was a bit puzzled to start with, as I've been on a roll with porny fic lately - nothing lower rated than R in the last month or more. But that was Brad/Nate, and they're just hot with no effort. Whereas Dean, well - when I pair him with Sam, yes. That works for me. But the reason all the SPN het I write is Sam/female is that (and here I should probably apologise in advance to Jensen Ackles fans - sorry!) I just don't find Dean that hot. Even paired with Faith Lehane, who's hot enough she adds a digit to my Kinsey scale. He's a good looking guy, but that's it for me - I appreciate, I just don't lust. And not lusting, apparently, means I'm yawning while I'm writing the sex! That's never a good sign.

I have to finish the story, though, because I love the opening too much:

She's frozen in a high kick; he's staring at her crotch.

He'd like the moment to last longer. Or at least end differently.

It ends with him on his back - and that hurt - and her standing over him, wooden stake in her hand like she's about to stick him with it.
