Monumental flailing LOVE!!! OMG, I cannot begin to articulate how much I loved this episode. How things are falling into place (I do so love a mytharc that unfolds like this, that pulls together events over years) - the reason the demons wanted John Winchester in hell, and then Dean, the reason Dean's been brought back from hell, and the way Ruby's been helping Sam.
Dear writers, director and actors, thank you so much for the scene in which Sam drinks Ruby's blood and makes desperate needy noises while Ruby pets his hair and looks blissfully and lovingly at him. You rendered me completely incapable of thinking of anything much else all day. Much love, Signe.
