He'd never seen an orchid before. It was so delicate, and Jayne knew the price tag on it was bigger than the one Serenity would have on it if Mal ever sold out. It had no place in this desert world. Jayne looked away from the glass cage where the flower was to the larger glass that showed him the view, nothin' but dirt and sand going on for ever. They barely had water on this planet, but in here it was all cool breeze and nice drinks that only Simon knew the name of, and these flowers in little fishtanks. Tall building when most people lived under the ground 'cause they couldn't afford bein' cool any other way. Tall, clean building, standing and shining in the middle of dirt.
