I have about 1,300 Yuletide words written. Based on the plot (inasmuch as I've managed to sort out the plot thus far), that's maybe 20% of the story, if I'm lucky. Oy.

I'm a little wary that I'm underestimating significantly, given the "plot thus far" aspect, and I do still have both my other holiday challenge fics to start and complete. However, yes, it is decent progress, especially compared to previous years.

That's the trouble with this time of year - so many challenges! It's been a while since I've had three on my plate, but I'm finding a daily goal is helping no end. And if I can help you betawise, let me know.

I've done well today - finished reviewing my source material for my yuletide story, and written just over the 1000 words I set as my target. Which is pleasing as I hadn't a clue how the story was going to go when I got up this morning!
