+ 100_ghosts is up and running again! There's a Halloweenish prompt up this week, so make tvm and me happy and play.
+ I am having a stressful week, and it's hitting my writing. Writing is supposed to be destressing me, so that is just Not On.
+ I ♥ Pushing Daises, to a ridiculous degree.
+ Sam/Ruby is my hot porny place right now. Well, that and vinylroad's Those Flooded Fields and stephanometra's redwings porn (both Sam/Jess).
+ Quick rec: Jeeves and the Tennis Coach by out_there [Jeeves and Wooster, Jeeves/Wooster, PG, 57,000 words] Novel length, gently slashy, perfectly in character Jeeves, Wooster and a whole crowd of supporting characters. A wonderful plot, and full of amusing little anecdotes. I defy you to finish reading it and not have a happy smile on your face.
+ And on a completely different note, chocolate cake. I blame scribblinlenore for this, making red velvet cake sound so inticing. Now I want to make it, but the recipes online are all very different, I've asked around and no one I know has even heard of it, and I've no idea where to start. Also they call for something like two ounces of red colouring, and surely that can't be red colouring like we have it in England - that'd be a couple of bottles! Plus I prefer the idea of colouring it with beetroot. So, does anyone have a good recipe they'd share with me?
