Supernatural 3x02 - The Kids are Alright (hi-res caps)
OMG, I loved that, but I was shaking through half of it, because I am a total wimp who can't even watch SPOOF scary movies. And bandsaws scare the fuck out of me. Urgh, I am never watching that intro again!
I am as intrigued as hell by knife!demon girl - I like her a lot, and now I even more want to write dirty up against the wall demon!girl/Sam sexxin'! I love that we potentially have a demon in shades of grey, and the idea of them working along with her is just fantastic. Also it answers the question of how the Seven Deadly Sins knew her. The only thing that perturbs me is that presumably she's possessing a body (which would explain why the SDSs didn't recognise her instantly) so what does she really look like? I want to know more about her (but don't spoil me - I want the show to tell me!), I want to know why she's so involved in the yellow eyed demon's plans, and I am thrilled to bits that that's not all over now with his death. Sam's now got the double whammy of trying to save Dean (and having the option of working with a demon to do so) and trying to find out what so special about himself (apart from being so tall). I wonder too if Sam's powers really are gone, or if it's just the visions? The demon controlled the visions, didn't he, but the rest of the powers, were they linked into the yellow eyed demon or were they different, intrinsic to the humans that had them? I can't remember if that's been made clear or not - if not, then there's still a lot of potential in Sam, and a huge amount for him to worry about. Maybe he could still develop the power to control demons. Or am I completely forgetting something here?
Damn, I love it when I have a million questions and I'm desperate for the next episode to learn more - thank you show, I love you!
Dean with the kid was adorable. Surely I'm not the only one who thinks Lisa lied when she said Ben's not Dean's kid? I liked Lisa - I like the idea that she's the sort of girl Dean would remember eight years down the line. And with any luck, someone's already writing that 'road trip' of Dean's.
The mothers all checking 'The Dean' out was hilarious, though cutting off their story was a mean tease!
Dean looked exceptionally pretty with all those closeups of his freckles.
Sam drinks milk with a straw! Presumably only when Dean's not around.
Favorite line: "Don't be rascist." I want more demon girl!
