So it begins
I've got a few minutes before I need to go to pick up the young one from holiday club. She only goes back to school on Monday. I still can' t start on a new line with the LJ app on the tablet. I don't think it will ever be fixed and I reckon it has to do with the app itself rather than the tablet so I'm going to have to come up with a system. I might use tge slash (solidus) character. It would still mKe reading this better, wouldn't it? // It's always a funny time of the year for me, what with the anniversary of my grandfather leaving us and the whole xmas 'baggage' I've been carrying for years. It make it difficult for me to see a new year as something positive. There's that voice going 'another bleeding one...' I am very much a Eeyore... // I had a silly deadline over the xmas period. I was contacted by a publishing company I hadn't worked with before just before xmas and it felt like an opportunity I couldn't miss. I hated it while I was doing it but it will probably have been worth it. I've got another job to do for them -due on Monday - so I'm still very much working crazy hours. It's likely the whole of Jan is voing to be this way, as I've got another 2 projects waiting on my desk. // It's time for me to go and I haven't had a chance to mention we're going to a panto tomorrow with my SIL, BIL and their 2 boys. I'll hopefully have a chance to post about it, that and more inner thinking bits. My posts have mostly been about work this year. It makes dull reading, doesn't it? //
