i want to learn to swim so badly; but, i am atop a tall cliff and the water is far too low to permit such a dive. i can only wait for the water to rise, if it ever does, and even then only hope that my makeshift dive lands me safely in the water.
i just got back from walking to custer park. it was a great walk, and i can't begin to tell you how magical it was to lie face up and stare at the sky from a shady patch of grass. the only thing that could have made it more enjoyable is a close friend to enjoy it with, and it would not be for the conversation, but rather the comfort of their company as they enjoyed the same sight; the same quiet; the same cool grass.
if anyone ever feels the urge to go to a park for the sole purpose of laying down and watching clouds pass, please call me; i would love to join you; conversation, or no.
