I'll take a minute to update.
First, we have three new cats. One is a seven month-old male. He's black, already 16 pounds and probably the sweetest little guy we've ever had. After we lost Abigale, we were petless for a while. Then, our vet called and asked us to come visit. She had Spooky (our name for him) up for adoption and, as sweet as he was, we couldn't say no. The other two are six month-old females that we adopted through a friend of a friend. So, now there is not a peaceful moment in "Cat World" and I love it.
The church orchestra is recording their first album (no choir) and I'm constantly doing something pertaining to it. New hard drives, computer upgrades and program files created, we're recording drums this weekend.
The church service is broadcast on the internet (www.firstredeemer.org) and is carried all over the TV world via satellite. It's a lot of work and responsibility to maintain good quality audio and last Wednesday, a power surge fried our broadcast audio board. We're using one of my mixers as a "loaner" but it's not enough channels (they need 40) to give a good mix, so we're scrambling to get the old one fixed (OK) or replaced (better).
Personally, things are OK...I could use a raise (couldn't we all), I need to loose 20 pounds and I wish I lived closer to work (56 miles, one way) but all in all, I'll survive.
I hope you all are well.....my love to you all.
Steve
