I do wonder at the reasons behind the committee's decision. The reason given was Obama's "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples", but speculation includes everything from wishing to encourage his present disarmament efforts, to the selection committee's desire to poke at our former president.
Ah well, let's see what he does with it.
