So I've found proof I'm just a numb, walking zombie.
After all my Easter activities I came back to my room and just rested and watched a movie. Had dinner, did some homework. Then one of my friends asked how my Easter was. I was about to say it was pretty good, and then I really thought about it.
Friday my classes were extremely boring, and afterward I had a meeting. The meeting wasn't that bad, and pretty productive though. My Dad and little sister, Brit, got into Erie at about 4:30 and we went down to the hospital. My Nana is in there after she was short of breath trying to clear the snow off her car (why no one else was doing it for her beats me. or why she hasn't moved out of ERIE, PA yet!). I can't remember exactly what happened to her, some sort of cardiovascular problem. She was hoping to get out of the hospital yesterday, but last I heard she was still there. So then my Dad, Brit, and I go to red lobster (on good Friday!). We only waited an hour, not as bad I thought actually. I hate seafood though, and I couldn't eat meat...so I was stuck with the shrimp alfredo pasta...without the shrimp (It wasn't amazing). Our waitress was also a little bit of a kook. After that I had a bit of luck at bingo (won 3 times), but then I got drunk, angry, and foolish. Eh, oh well.
Saturday wasn't too bad actually. Went to smoky bones (very good bbq restaurant). Chilled for awhile, went to work just to stand around bored for 3 1/2 hours, cause NO ONE was on campus. I then wasted a good amount of time playing skeeball at Chuck E. Cheese with my awesome cousin, Lindsey. We went to Olive Garden...that's a story within it self.
Sunday morning sucked, I only got about 6 hours of sleep. Courtney made a deal with me to drink a whole 2 liter of mountain dew and she'd pay me $20. I drank it in 3 hours, one of those hours I was in church though. I downed about half in an hour right after church. I gave up pop for lent, so my body was not in the least bit ready for that. During church I realized my Dad made it, but my Mom was no where in sight. That's right, my Mom SKIPPED Easter Sunday mass. This is unheard of. After church, my cousin informed us that my uncle was in the hospital for kidney stones. Same hospital as my Nana. Awesome. From there I just hung out at my Uncle Larrys, saw my mom finally, drank the rest of my 2 liter, peed 3 times, keeled over in stomach pain, and checked out a bomb shelter.
I thought my Easter was "pretty good" because, beside my physical pain from my stomach ahce and my body's general reaction to way too much caffeine & sugar and my drunken foolishness, I was numb to everything.
