New Year, New Stylophone.
I had a nice night, pretty much exactly what I'd want to do at New Year. A small amount of friends came over (3 people) and we drank and played trivial pursuit and then watched Young Frankenstein. Hootananny was a bit rubbish this year, I seem to like less and less of the mainstream music coming out at the moment it seems. We also let off some Lidl fireworks which were the best fireworks I've ever seen (much better than the London fireworks) they didn't so much go off with a bang than with a whimper -- it made us all laugh like drains as it was such an amazing anti-climax. We also got a Stylophone which is brilliant! Expect to see it on stage soon...
I'm not making resolutions this year, I am however making plans. I plan to:
- Write more.
- Sort out the videos I've taken of my recent gigs.
- Keep in touch with my friends more.
- Do some work on my website(s).
- Drink less.
- Save up enough to put a deposit down on a house.
- Be more decisive (maybe).
- Be more artistic -- my new job seems to be helping in this.
There's more than that but I can remember what they were (I should plan to improve my memory perhaps). I hope you all had a great New Year -- hopefully 2009 will bring nice things and not too much horror from the credit crunch.
