Planning to Write Again

Perhaps it's because that I'm directing a drama this term, I am inspired and feel like writing fiction. I haven't written any fiction since several years ago. The last entry of HP fanfiction in this journal can be dated long long time ago. Last year I did write a couple of short stories about Toshi-chan, but since they were short, I don't think they count.

This time, I still want to write something more about Toshi-chan, for he is my muse. So there you go, here is the outline of a story, titled "The Everyday Life of Hijikata Family":

Hijikata Toshizou’s profession is a college teacher, but he has many identities as well. He has married early, and now is the father of a 5-year-old girl and the husband of a young military scientist. Besides, in his spare time, he takes up the job of a magazine model. Being a good-looking, gentle, and kind-hearted man, Toshi is perfect on every aspect. In his everyday life, everything is quite ordinary but seemingly different from other people’s. To Toshi, the knack of enjoying life with the family is to view it from the artistic aspect. In this fiction, the writer invites you to a world of beauty and happiness.

Above is a brief introduction to the fiction, but the outline is not ready yet. The profiles of my doll crew have been reported since their births, but I hope there will be a succession of scenes to present what they truely are, especially in their supposed real, ordinary lives. Therefore, the scenes in the fiction might be quite uneventful and trifle, but still meaningful. I think the many identities of Toshi-chan will be very interesting, for I love him so much and want to examine him from every possible angle. I dare say that the character of Toshi-chan is partly based on myself (or my everyday self), and partly on my favourite supervisor (or my ideal). Creating stories based on my experience would be funnier than mere imagination--such a dare defers from my past fiction, which was based on imagination mainly. I remamber that when I was writing the third part of The Story of Light, I searched for the information about Guy Fawkes with great efforts, for I had known nothing of that British festival. Another example is The East Pearl series, which is based on a legend in my hometown. In fact, this series had been a term assignment of a subject in my undergraduate education, and by which I had gained a lot of fun. However, when the term ended, I ceased writing that seires. Oooh, I just remember so many good old days when studying in the university (Hermione type?).

Anyways, I will keep on writing, and hope this fiction about Toshi-chan finnally come out.
